Consolidation phase:
lumbar puncture #2. Procedure is coming up soon with chemo. Blood sugars were low so she’s gotten some dextrose. Hoping that helps since she’s been NPO.
Today was her first awake port access. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t terrible. She was very strong !!
Changing out her dressing for the hole in her chest… a nightmare. It’s not usually when we change it at home but here, she was not having it. Hitting everyone, screaming at the top of her lungs.
But I’ll tell you what- she’s a fighter.
