10/102023 -Interim Maintenance 1 - Day 1

Today we started IM1. In this phase Amora will not have to take any oral chemo (Thank God)! She will be administered vincristine and methotrexate via her port every 10 days. On day 41 she will undergo her only lumbar puncture in this phase.

We came into clinic worried Amora's blood counts would be low. They needed to be above 750 ANC and 75k platelets. They were at 1400 and 250k 😭. All the Glory to God!! She got her port accessed with no problem and my girl didn't even cry. She danced as she got her chemo medication and so far hasn't had any side effects. We have to keep her hydrated and keep an eye out for her bowel movements to make sure she doesn't get constipated. She sure is the strongest little girl I've ever known. So proud to be her mom.
