08/09/2023 - Port Removal

Amora got out of bed and walked to the playroom today. Thank you God. It’s the little celebrations.

This morning we had to get labs, and she did so good, they found a vein first try. Thank you God.

Amora had her platelet transfusion this morning, that went well, Thank you God.

Last night Amoras glucose levels were high. They have to test her glucose every 4 hours to make sure she doesn’t need insulin. Her glucose levels came down this morning. Thank you God.

She’s about to receive another blood transfusion soon. I pray her body accepts it. Her surgery to remove the port will be sometime today. I pray God guides the doctors during her procedure and that she has a successful outcome. I pray that You as the All Healer, God, continue to help Amora fight this infection.
